The Business of Building True Wealth

The Sacred Corny is what we at LDC (Legend Drum Circles) refer to as the trite expressions of Humanity's simplistic, “fundamental imports” into consciousness that are, now, too often dismissed as passe'..."rather unsophisticated", relegated to a status of peripheral value and/or only considered significant to summon when all else of complication & sophistication has failed.

And while we may individually search diligently for "gain" within our modern worlds of commerce, politics and other fields of social leadership & mitigation, sciences, etc., there's a thread that runs through every one of us (without exception). This includes, both, (the intertwined), physical and spiritual cords of the fundamentally attractive vibrations of The Sacred Corny's eternal influence. A mouthful, indeed. 

We all certainly identify as human beings via our basic physicality. However, we are also defined by the type of human being we evolve, or devolve toward in our perpetual becoming. This process is the unequivocal "Spirit", (spiritual aspect), quality of Our on-going Humanity. Simply put: It represents the Kind of Human we’re choosing to be.

Mid 20th century television programs like 'Leave It To Beaver" projected a simplistic image of a quality of American Family Life & Ideals that, upon reflection, may strike most of our modern, more vogue social interactions & experiences, as being "oh so very corny" and trite! However, within the substance of dynamic human exchange, one could argue that the presentations of yesterday's programs (unlike today) were defined & dominated by calmer, less dramatic sets of dysfunction to be resolved between humans; even though within the world of Humans, there also existed, at that time, a plethora of Humanity’s discord that was not allowed to be brought before a general viewing audience. 

The collective sensibilities and decencies of the general audience of that time prohibited the more graphic theater now being scripted to reflect or project, with much greater sophistication, our baser natures. back then, The "Sacred Corny" prevailed as the high standard for American Society (and for the most part), for the world at large throughout those generational periods. (This all of course in the context of our most modern definitions of society.

What think Ye might be considered THE most significant and "over-used" word and expression that would qualify at the top of the Sacred Corny’s list? If You thought or said ,"LOVE"?...you guessed It! Admittedly or not, we all know that, in its simplicity, Love Is Most Pertinent within the human catalog of all the things to be, or to do, or to be desired. And, "Corny" is representative of something simple, plain, unsophisticated (not necessarily fancy), clear & positive, decent and foundational about our most shared loving desires for human experience. 

It is interesting that our desiring essence reaches for the coupling of Love and Corny. It is seen particularly clear in the Light of our historical, oh so! excessive references to...and longings for It, as Both. 

Love has been a consistent theme in the consciousness of Human Life. As a most notable characteristic of such global, historically & profoundly mindful import, the overall trite characterizations of the coupling, "Corny-Love", assuredly beckons us all to venerate and therefore position more consciously, these rudimentary ingredients of our "better", purer (Sacred) humanity. They are the, assumed, principal aspirations and ambitions of a perpetually evolving, and expanding, and auspicious humanity, and one of the barometers by which we access and consider the labels & qualities that we define as our everyday LIVES.

The Primary Ambition: Rejoin The Band

The Business of building true wealth is what we (LDC) call “The Primary Ambition”. True wealth is not money (not "merely", nor otherwise) for where money is our "primary" focus in Life, we tend to become myopic, and miss the "big picture"- the true wealth of riches inherent within the purity of Life's Greatest Yields of Experiences. The Primary Ambition is simply and principally, an essential "Love of Life Itself" that naturally provides and enhances the value of money's utility as a trading mechanism. 

For "Life", Itself, is the perpetual offering of provisions for and of our existence. The Natural Environment that engulfs Us, inside & out is LIFE, recurrent and over abundant as a Primary Creative Gift of Origin & Care bestowed. And, that gift is each of Us autonomously created to live upon and within Life's Earth. We are organically & spiritually made as unique parts of Her (Earth's) taxonomy for the purpose of sustaining and advancing in stewardship & with balance, the harmonic attributes of our symbiotic being-ness. That "mouthful" characterizes the environmental, harmonic quality that sustains our essence, with or without money.

"When the last tree is cut down, the last fish is caught, and the last river is poisoned, you will realize that you can not eat money." -Native American Proverb

If we allow ourselves to reach more deeply through and beyond our less satisfying perceptions and experiences in Life, we discover the essence of Life is still Love, existing Dynamically Present, advancing even when tucked & buried beneath the overshadow of our personal inner dissatisfactions. With a liberating pause, we can "choose" to verify that this Love (as defined) is The Primary Liberating Good-Feeling that we most inevitably long to inhale & exhale for. It is a Real Desired Sense of "Letting Go" to "rejoin The Band" and meld harmonically into Its fabric of Shared Existence- appreciating and honoring, without resistance, All Of Its Abundant Vibratory Attributes. Given the Gift of Life's (Love's) Ubiquitous Presence, it is our ultimate, subconscious proclivity to be tweaked & enlightened by IT’s reality, and to progress in becoming more & more aware of, and more at ease within Life with each informed breath we take, seeing as how we are made of, by and within IT. If this Truth is not prominent, we devolve suicidal in the darkness that characterizes discord. (Our known human history has catalogued the extremes to which our barbarism, in this respect, had descended.)

MONEY

If we have an abundance of money, or other gifts, it is in our natures to seek someone with Whom to share "these things"- or, (at the very least), someone before whom to flaunt and crudely present "our good tidings" in ostentatious display. (Just sayin'!) And, fundamentally, it has occurred time and time again that we've digressed as a Humanity without "Shared Love" (that is, without pleasant human interaction), and without the wise, "un-miserly", generous offerings of our treasures in dominance within our Souls! Selfishly being in possession of "these things", (but with "... no one else around with Whom To Share them"), can foster a bitter sleep of loneliness & aggrandizement (Ebenezer Scrooge). But, perhaps we'd exhale and smile foolishly, realizing (when once awakened), that we had fallen asleep sadly lured by some sense of hopeless discord. Selfish negative thoughts can fester in the dissonant and isolated shadows of Love's assumed absence. Parsimonious inner misery is telling. And, so is generous, beneficent inner harmony.

Creating Love's dominance within our every resolve is how we intentionally create Harmony. It is Love being acknowledged as most present within our very existence. It is Love being recognized and allowed to flourish from within; and given permission by us to be shared outwardly as an attractive proof of our dominant inner reality. For Love (as a defined "Science of 'Beingness'") is magnetic in quality, attracting and expanding through cycles of fundamental goodness. And, Love is, consequently, shared via Its Rooted Presence flowering-out in this manner, from within each of Us. We each assist in manifesting an "Eden-Consciousness” into our broadest Humanity by this perpetual rhythmic flow & exchange. And, herein, WE reap Harmonic Life’s perpetual effects, nestled together and supplied with all of our needs met from within This Reality. The Sacred Cycles of Harmonic Abundant Life are a rhythm of Harmonic Life: seeds pulsing abundantly together that sprout Our affects an authentic Sacred Corney Reality from This Cause.

Why would "things" and necessities and other personal satisfactions seem scarce? Answer: There's discord to be brought to Light and transmuted into this Harmonic. We are instinctively more compelled to quell our assumptions of Love's absence, being an ingredient of its perpetuation. But, of course, there are those who perhaps hold to a more sinister denial & rejection of our need for It, or for Love's existence at all. The latter sense of consciousness has created the sense of scarcity that has lead to unhealthy sensibilities of animalistic survival competitiveness. Our conscious inner positioning of The Sacred Corney, however, insures the presence of Assured Hope that harmonically aligns & energizes the Human Spirit in proper anticipation, pursuit and satisfaction of a prosperous goal, where no one and no thing could truly find itself in lack, or worse the ware. 

Harmonic Rhythm: Thriving & Flourishing with The Band

Harmonic Rhythm is an unspoken interconnected Oneness of Great Feeling that translates as "Light" Being Present in what we now "feel-into" with greater and greater movements in Satisfactions... pulsing Its energy of Pleasing, Pleasantly Enveloping, Saturating Life Existence (when we choose to allow such inner flow and continued openness). This rhythm, we are prompted to welcome & recognize as Existing within us- The Essential Sacred Corny sense of Love, Life & Light Itself. There is Life in Us, and Us in Life. There is Love, Life & Light As Us- filaments, harmonically melding together well, like a band in synch (or, a band "tight & in the pocket" as musicians say), creating together, greater & brighter Light of Harmony. Discord...does not cannot do this!!! It IS The Gift for ALL who would wield LIGHT!

Things, and People (in particular), help to stimulate Harmonic Rhythm (all aspects of our experiences being an undeniable part of Life's Singularity). All that would nurture our Lives is the Cause that Creates The Effect of Vulnerable Trust: a receptiveness that is prerequisite to experiencing Harmony with Life. On various levels, we are "caused" to open to It (to Life) via Family, Community and Nature. These all collectively fostering a greater sense of interpersonal camaraderie as we learn through each quality of experience & exchange Life with the diverse energies that surround us; that facilitate our growthvia our choices toward harmonic resolutions.

We intrinsically "get"that tangible harmonic relationships with other people & "things" are best experienced when based on the always present intangible Purity that is Love's Virtue & Spirit . This is a character of identifiable essence that Is, and that evokes the best of our feelings; and that Is, therefore, truly recognized and experienced AS US living and growing well It is Love creating Life as Art. Even when we allow compromises with imbalanced desires that trigger emotional & mental discord, our ability to live & grow harmonically still exist. However, when we introduce and allow to fester into our perceptions "the alloys of discord" (if you will), we din our consciousness of Love's immaculate harmonic vibratory existence, and we are become more susceptible to dissonance rather than to the blending harmonics that feed thriving societies.

Our Harmonic Rhythms are the unconditional, ethereal, immaculate essence within which and from which we've been gestating and manifesting as stewards within the cadence and cycles of our perpetual becoming, individually as well as collectively. We are created to compose and play upon the pure canvas of our unique living. However, discord becomes the erratic vibration we create- the music we play individually and then collectively- when our perceptions and actions are skewed away from the rhythmically attractive fundamental certainties of The Primary Ambition: The Sacred Corney, as cause. Our forgetfulness in this regard, undermines our personal authority, and denotes a need to strengthen one's "Loving Perspectives" and return to the unique rhythms that are the sole authoritative signature of one's best, most positively productive, autonomous being.

When on point, all other desires and ambitions loom secondary. And, if we approach, with the greatest appreciation, Life/Love in this way (as being our simple, central focus), our secondary ambitions then blossom from a seed, a core, a foundational platform of "Love for Life Itself" that creates & promotes the energies of a wise mindset of greater ease and mellifluous perspective. This causes us to realize greater, more expansive perceptions of satisfactions of fulfillment when, with ever greater gratitude, the manifestations of our desired acquisitions come to their effective Light, for they will have been infused with Love.

The Primary Ambition to Live and Love Masterfully in virtuous context has no equal in individual and group-culture (community/team) satisfaction and success. A team is best served when each member is rooted in such fundamentals as these that would foster compassionate, competent and diligent care for the goal/project being created, for those with whom one creates; as well as, and especially for those for Whom the creation is intended.

Our philosophy in Team Building is to help each Drum Circle participant to return to, and/or  reinforce This Primary Ambition within. It is a centering and freeing of each participant whose pulse and “energy signature” is unique, certain, universally relevant, and a key to the overall operation of any business, group, organization, team, etc. that forms & operates as a Community Successful In Practical & Noble Purpose.

The Order of Co-operative Evolving Change

The First Order, directive...request of all energies is (by the very definitive nature and etymology of the word "Order") , a command and a desire for movement of change that would manifest a vision (an accomplished goal ) via some number of relevant steps & functions. For Order denotes a particular way, a system of accomplishment with "parts, segments, steps, etc." that we work on and create together to aright "dis-order", and bring about a euphony, a harmonic commonality of purpose born out of our different responsibilities; performed by energies of folks of varying diversities. 

This must (obviously) be an agreed upon concept of understanding and  intentional purposed projection of co-operation.

Team Works "R" Team Creations!  And so...

...There IS an "I" in every Team! In fact, there are as many "I's" as there are members of The Team.

The opportunity that all of us have to execute the creative actions of "co-operation" is Self-Love... Inner Harmony that springs from the "feel" & knowledge of one's personal Harmonic Rhythm, or sense of Self. If I care about Who I Am, I investigate the kind of person I Am Creating,  moment to moment.  This question is most grounded within the "order of opportunities" to seize the forthright occasions to evolve. Integrity! Honesty. Patience, etc. ...are these words that define Me; or, do they perhaps, intrigue me enough to adopt as fresh aspects of Who "I Am" choosing to become? A more harmonic self  swells from within each inner point of virtue genuinely felt...thought... and expressed as we very honestly evaluate & execute toward personal growth.

Am I, currently, a Gossiper? Am I deliberately & arbitrarily "Contrary"?...Lazy? Does what I do matter to Me? Am I in Life for a buck only? And, Am I willing and satisfied to only get a buck's worth of Life back? 

Every "I", being quite present in The Team, is an intertwined aspect of  The Spirit of The Team . We do not see "The Letter "I"" in the written word of Team. Nor do we hear "The Letter "I"" when we enunciate the word Team. However, the energies of "The "I's"" are clearly present, and they manifest collectively as "The Spirit of The Group". And, this Spirit Energy becomes, CREATES The Culture  and the resulting successes or short comings of the Work/Group/Community Purpose & Environment. The Team is either moving toward its more "natural course purpose" that affords the greater wealth profiles of Harmonic Rhythm; or, toward the unnatural skews of discord and poor result.

The Team Attributes- The attitudes, competencies... the compassionate personalities, drives, commitments, etc. of its members  (The "I's") obviously provide the sustenance of a Team of greater inner value of purpose & goal. Healthy gears propel machines with the best sustainable efficiency and endurance. To Scale well, up and beyond from any point, (whether "fresh", novel, or established & seasoned in group purpose), requires that each stage throughout developmental foundations & growth be most healthy, as well; that every part played to affect progress be born from the best energies of developmental cause. When that cause is placed upon the discerning alter of "purity", or integrity, all justifications are rightly envisioned and found appropriately grounded to be built upon.  

Leadership Stewards The Diversity, Commonality and the Focus of Harmonic Rhythms

Great, "like-hearted" people create "Diverse Co-operative Team Culture"!

And Great Team Leadership seeks to perpetually Scale the co-operative focus and fruits of such  Cultures by infusing the Wisdom of Insisted Integrity & Compassionate Competence from, both, one's self and from those in one's charge. This is The Competency Skill Set of affective leadership as the Harmonic Conductor of Rhythmically fluent program operations.

The Village Greene, in Historic Smithville, NJ, (Galloway)

It is here that Legend Drum Circles was born! 

Twice a year, for over 12 years, Legend Drum Circles held A Major Community Drum Circle on The Village Greene, in Historic Smithville, NJ. Legend Drum Circles' parent company, Herban Legend LLC operated a Fair Trade Boutique at The Village Greene location. Desiring to honor Earth Day in Spring, and The International Day of Peace in Autumn, we held our Major Community Drum Circle Events on the weekends near those dates, and featured Entertainment, Vendors, Workshops, Poetry, Yoga, Tai Chi, Dance & so much more. Our workshops were in sponsorship with representatives from various disciplines who shared their expertise with the community.

The Noyes Museum: The remarkable Noyes Museum in Galloway Township, New Jersey 

This fun gathering occurred six to seven times per year. It was an AWESOME CIRCLE open to the public before The Noyes , unfortunately, closed its doors at their Galloway location. The Noyes Museum continues to operate two area facilities: one in Atlantic City, N.J., and the other  in Hammonton, N.J.

We LOVE to help to release stress & tensions. We LOVE to build community in our Neighborhoods, Businesses,  Schools...you name it! And The Noyes Museum, along with The Village Greene in Historic Smithville, as well as many other venues, were remarkable events where  we we've met incredible people who honored us by helping  to develop just that!!

A Good Business

Facilitating  circles to build a stronger person and ultimately, a more profound community team spirit of enthusiasm and collective accomplishment is our focus in whatever, and wherever exist the intention & capacity to Harmonically Thrive as a Collective. The consequent result  is the  evolution of human environments. So far as we can see, there is no occasion where a Drum Circle could not serve  to assist this Noble Purpose.

The business of building True Wealth is The Noble Order of The Primary Ambition: LOVE, Sacred & Corney...the platform & building block of all True Happiness. And, it is this heart felt intent that drives each & every Legend Drum Circle.
